Mixed Media

“I started drawing when I was a teenager with black and white portraits found on the internet. I am not so sure what I was doing at the time and am not sure how I got into drawing, really. I just realize that I enjoy learning, so it was a great way to get my brain going.”

“It took me a while to find what I like, my style. I wouldn't say I have a style; I can be versatile, really. If there is one thing I do not enjoy, it is doing the same thing the same way all the time.”

“I have to keep my brain active, and a way to do that is to explore new styles, new art forms, mixing various things together. I don't want to restrict myself. A lot of people say, 'you should find a niche and stick to it,' I don't believe in that; I actually hate it. We are constantly evolving, growing, and for me, exploring new materials and finding different ways to express myself is growth.”
